The Science Of Post-Treatment Recovery: What Your Skin Is Doing (And How To Help It)
Post-treatment skin isn’t “irritated”—it’s rebuilding. Right after your peel, microneedling, or laser, your skin moves through four phases: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. The right aftercare turns that biology into visible results: think hydration, ceramide-rich moisturizers, and strict mineral SPF while you pause retinoids and acids. Expect glow within days, with collagen improvements continuing for weeks. At Skin Health Studios, we map your exact re-intro schedule so you heal faster and see longer-lasting results.
DNA Skin Boosters Demystified: How to select the right one for your glow goals.
Not sure which DNA skin booster fits your goals? In this guide, we compare Rejuran PN, Toskani Lumicen, and Promoitalia Nucleoskin so you can choose with confidence. We break down how polynucleotide (PN) formulas support overall skin quality, who each option is best for (hydration and glow, texture and pores, or bounce and early fine lines), expected timelines for visible improvement, and how many sessions to plan. You’ll also learn how we stack boosters with microneedling or light therapy to amplify results and protect the skin barrier. Use our quick chooser to match concerns like dullness, sensitivity, or post-acne marks to the right booster, then book a personalized consult.

The Radiance of a Growing Market: Skincare’s Billion‑Dollar Surge
The skincare sector is on an impressive upward trajectory—projected to grow from $187.5 billion in 2023 to over $217 billion by 2027. Behind this surge: premium consumer expectations, technology-enabled customization, and convergence between skincare and clinical beauty. Players that deliver authenticity, efficacy, and real value will thrive as the market continues its glow-up.
Exosomes vs. Stem Cells: What’s the Difference in Skincare?
In aesthetics, exosome therapy is gaining popularity because it offers many of the regenerative benefits of stem cells—like stimulating collagen, repairing damaged skin, and reducing inflammation—without the ethical concerns or complex harvesting process. This makes exosomes a safer, more targeted option for treatments such as microneedling, laser resurfacing, and anti-aging facials.
So, while stem cells provide the source, exosomes deliver the action. Choosing treatments that incorporate exosomes can accelerate healing, improve skin texture, and enhance overall results.
Peptides for Skin 101: What They Are and Why Your Skin Loves Them
If you’ve been hearing the buzz about peptides in skincare but aren’t quite sure what the hype is all about—you’re not alone. Peptides are short chains of amino acids (aka the building blocks of protein) that play a key role in maintaining the structure, firmness, and resilience of your skin.
Think of peptides as messengers that tell your skin to do things like produce more collagen, improve elasticity, or calm inflammation. They’re like little signals that say, “Hey skin, it’s time to glow up.”
NAD+ in Topical Skincare: Efficacy, Mechanisms, and Evidence
Current evidence supports precursors over pure NAD+ in formulations. Recommendation: Opt for products with nicotinamide (5% concentration) or NMN paired with delivery enhancers (e.g., liposomes).

2025 is all about Copper Peptides
A GHK-Cu face serum appears blue because the active ingredient, "GHK-Cu" (copper peptide), is naturally a blue-colored powder, meaning its inherent color transfers to the serum when mixed in; this blue hue indicates the presence of the copper peptide and is considered a sign of its quality and purity.

mi.Glo Skincare + five tips on how to use serums effectively
1. The “base” is key. When you skin isn’t happy with a product, it doesn’t mean necessarily that you’re not tolerating the active ingredient. The “actives” are things like the niacinamide, retinol, various forms of Vitamin C, etc. It’s a pain to do but… look at those inactive ingredients on the back or box. You can also find ingredient lists online at the company’s site usually. Is there propylene glycol (PG – other glycols are fine), parabens, formaldehyde releasing preservatives? mi.Glō does not have PG, formaldehyde preservatives, synthetic fragrances, etc.
2. Serums often have fewer chemicals. If you have a gentle cleanser and moisturizer you love, then serums are an easy choice. They layer better and typically have fewer chemicals to cause problems. We focus on eliminating as many chemicals as we can while preserving how well it works.
3. Serums layer better. For example, our infinite youth pro serum has a light hyaluronic acid base and a texture almost like water. This was deliberate because it goes on first, then a pigment fighting serum if needed, then your antioxidant, and then sunscreen. You may not need a moisturizer before the sunscreen. You can use growth factors just before or after the antioxidant if you want. Put the thinner one on first.
Crepey Body Skin
Many people think now that crepey skin on the body is just due to sun/UV damage. While that does contribute, it’s not the whole story. The characters in this story are sun/UV damage, intrinsic aging, your internal health, and environmental stresses
